  • The Chateau Marmont is a hotel on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, built in 1929 and modeled after the Chateau Amboise in France's Loire Valley. It has served as the backdrop for a number of events in the lives of well-known Rock and roll rock stars and actors.

 

  • The Hotel del Coronado is a luxury hotel in the City of Coronado, California Coronado, just across the San Diego Bay from San Diego, California. It is one of the few surviving examples of of an American architectural genre: the wooden Victorian beach resort. The hotel is located immediately behind the beach, facing the Pacific Ocean. It is the largest beach resort on the North American Pacific Coast.

 

  • The Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel is located at 9500 Wilshire Boulevard where it intersects Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. Built by real estate developer Walter G. McCarty on the site of the former Beverly Hills Speedway at a time when Beverly Hills had less than one thousand inhabitants, it was completed in 1928 as the "Beverly Wilshire Apartment Hotel." With its distinctive E-shape in the Italian renaissance architecture style, the hotel's builders used a special Tuscany Tuscan stone and Carrara marble.
