Funky Cabins

If you are in the Torrey Utah area and want to stay somewhere that is really cheap but very comfortable. Then try out these cabins. Go to the Post Office or the Little shop next to the post office and ask, the cabins are in back of the shop. They just have a couple of beds and the bathroom is in another block. The bathroom was warm and the shower was hot so it was not a problem and with only two cabins there was never a line for the shower/bathroom. We stayed there because we were intending to camp but the weather was too snowy. We were even able to have the dog in the room, much to her pleasure.

Torrey Utah is the gateway to Capital Reef National Park. The park seemed to be less busy than when we have been to Arches and Needles at the same time of year, it seems that it is a little off the beaten track. The wash was amazing. Great hikes to arches and rock formations in the area and at the end of March it was great weather for hiking, not too hot and not too cold.

Capitol Reef Visitor Center is open All Year 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (extended summer hours)
